Give it a few tries. Start by squeezing a small amount of water into your hand and letting your pet lick it off near the nozzle. After 2–3 sessions most pets learn to drink directly. Patience is key — especially for cats or timid animals. A little broth mixed in can help at first.
Twist the nozzle cap to the locked position after every use. The seal is designed to be completely leak-proof when properly closed. If stored in a bag, make sure the cap is fully locked — you'll feel a slight click when it's secured.
Rinse with warm water after each use. For a deeper clean, disassemble the nozzle and wash all parts with mild dish soap. Most components are top-rack dishwasher safe. Avoid abrasive brushes on the nozzle to preserve the silicone seal.
Yes — the silicone nozzle and body are top-rack dishwasher safe. We recommend removing the clip carabiner before washing to prevent discoloration. Air-dry fully before sealing and storing.
